Dress Code

The Dress and Grooming Code applies before and after regular school hours (7:00 am - 4:00 pm) outside as well as inside the buildings.  Students who attend extended day or school functions after 3:00 pm are expected to dress appropriately for those events.

Appropriate attire for field trips will be determined by the nature of the trip. Special instructions will be given to the students prior to the trip.

Girls:

All girls will be required to wear the following school wear items during the year 2012-2013:

One solid collared polo shirt, any color - no graphics or logos except the school mascot  or a small American Eagle logo.  Tight-fitting shirts are not permitted. Shirts must be long enough to always cover the waistline. Girls do not have to tuck in shirts.

All Crosland Wear shirts, any color, including T-shirts. T-shirts can only be Crosland Wear.

Only Crosland Wear sweatshirts or a solid colored sweater may be worn inside the building. Outside coats and jackets are not permitted to be worn in the classroom.

Skirts, dresses, or shorts may be worn of the appropriate length which is no shorter than one inch above the knee.  Shorts must be a solid color.  Slacks are also acceptable and must be a solid color. All pants, shorts, and skirts must be worn at the waistline. No camouflage pants, pajama pants, or sweat pants.

Shoes must be worn at all times.  Flip-flops are not acceptable.

No caps, hats, head coverings or gloves can be worn inside the building.

No extreme hair colors or styles.  Hair must be out of the eyes.

No face jewelry or visible tattoos.

Boys:

Full length pants or trousers. Shorts may be worn of an appropriate length which is no shorter than one inch above the knee. All pants and shorts are to be worn at the waist, must fit properly, and must be a solid color. Shirts must be tucked in. No basketball shorts, camouflage pants, pajama pants, sweatpants, girls' jeans or pants, or oversized pants, shorts, and shirts.

Shoes must be worn at all times.  Flip-flops are not acceptable.

No caps, hats, head coverings or gloves can be worn inside the building.

No extreme hair colors or styles. Hair is not permitted below the ears and must be trimmed out of the eyes. Pony tails are not permitted.

No ear or face jewelry.

No facial hair or visible tattoos.
